SECONDARY LEAD SMELTERS WITH THREE OPERATIONS IN FRANCE
Created in 1952, ECOBAT’s presence in France is the APSM and STCM group of companies, which has plants in three locations, Pont Sainte-Maxence, Bazoches-les-Gallerandes and Toulouse.
The companies employ 130 staff and produce around 60,000 tonnes of lead and lead alloys per year, together with polypropylene. Most of their raw materials derive from the automotive and industrial markets via waste lead acid batteries and accumulators.
As with all Ecobat companies, the French operation is run to the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards.
