HEFRA was incorporated in 1972, although due to a number of acquisitions, including that of Wilco batteries, the history dates even back to 1934. Nowadays, five branches in the Benelux provide a finely-meshed distribution network with short delivery times and high fulfillment rate.

HEFRA is the largest independent specialist in sales, marketing and distribution of batteries in the Benelux. The range includes batteries for every conceivable application; starter batteries for vehicles and generators, semi traction batteries for trucks, batteries for maritime and recreational uses as well as traction batteries for internal transport, aerial work platforms, scissor lifts and electric powered vehicles.

HEFRA also carries an extensive range of professional chargers and testing equipment and accessories, whilst the site in Antwerp has its own fitting station for cars, trucks and campers.

As a certified waste collector HEFRA adds extra value to the customers by providing the return logistics.
